The Town of Bath Christmas Tree on the green in the median on Fairfax Street between Washington and Mercer now shines brighter than ever, thanks to a dazzling new star added to its peak over the weekend.
The star, a delightful piece of electric festivity, was acquired by local resident Justin Spielman at the TransWorld Christmas Show, a renowned annual trade show that brings together manufacturers, retailers, and enthusiasts from around the world to showcase the latest trends, products, and innovations in Christmas and Halloween decorations.
Justin attended the convention to get ideas and scooped up the new star as a free giveaway from the convention.
The star, nicknamed "Sputnik" but technically called a "snowburst," features an intricate design resembling a burst of snowflakes. Its addition to the tree brings a renewed sense of wonder and joy to the community, and well represents the mission of the Bath Christmas Project: To make Berkeley Springs a magical Christmas Town!
